Implications of the Otto Bremer Trust Decision for Private Foundations and their Attorneys

Upcoming Beneficial Ownership Reporting Requirements | what should foreign (and domestic) beneficial owners of their US entities know?

The presenter will discuss the upcoming beneficial ownership reporting regulations under the Corporate Transparency Act (CTA). Since the CTA was passed in December 2020, FinCEN came out with the proposed regulation in December 2021. Although the next and updated regulations are due to be released later this year, the presenter will discuss the newest developments, proposed reporting requirements, and what the US companies and their beneficial owners, both foreign and domestic, should know and do to prepare for the reporting requirements of the final rule.
