There are over 70,000 agricultural workers
in Minnesota, consisting of Minnesotans as well as migrants from other states
and around the world. Almost half of all U.S. agricultural workers are
undocumented. What are their legal challenges and rights? From wages to
site conditions, from H2 visas to housing, from stockyards to canneries, this
CLE will discuss laws and policies impacting the people that produce our
food. Jointly sponsored by the MSBA’s Immigration and Agriculture Sections,
and presentation from the Agricultural Worker Project.
