Join the MSBA Appellate Practice Section on Thursday,
December 10 for a culinary-themed virtual holiday social gathering. The program
will include food and beverage demonstrations by appellate judges and section
leaders. Judge Diane Bratvold will teach attendees how to make a delicious pie
crust from scratch, Judge Denise Reilly will share her recipe for a caramelized
bacon appetizer, and Section Chair Monte Mills will share his mixology skills by
making a tasty seasonal cocktail in a classic coupe glass. In addition to these
demonstrations, attendees will have an opportunity to virtually mingle and
connect while enjoying a drink and nibble from home.
Ingredient
lists for the demonstration items will be provided in advance. Before the event,
section members and attendees will also be surveyed to share their favorite
pandemic recipes, take-out ideas, drinks, and other “life hacks” that are making
living through 2020 more enjoyable. Results will be collected and shared with
attendees.
