Interested in a legal career in labor and
employment law? What do labor and employment lawyers in Minnesota do? The
possibilities in labor and employment law are truly endless! Join a diverse
group of practitioners to hear about all the angles and paths you can pursue
with your interest in employment or labor union law. Panelists will include:
- Carol Skinner (advising clients on both
sides of the "v")
- Jenny Helling Fuller (a "Big Law"
employer-counselor)
- Meg Luger Nikolai (a labor union lawyer)
- Josh Williams (a plaintiff-side
solo/small firm owner)
- Ben Kwan (moderator and accidental
employment lawyer (read: job-hopper))
Panelists will cover the basics—like what
does "employment law" look like day-to-day as well as weightier topics like
lessons from the 2008 financial collapse as we face economic and job uncertainty
plus what their respective "business models" demand from job applicants and
aspirants.
