Diversity and Inclusion
What diversity and inclusion goals did the Section include in the 2018-2019 work plan, how did you approach these goals, and what was the result?
- The section aspired to host a CLE focused on assisting attorneys with understanding the different nuances of working with clients from different cultures. In June of 2019, we hosted a CLE titled “Delivering Culturally Responsive Legal Services- Understanding the Challenges of Clients Who Were Born Outside the U.S.,” which featured a panel of speakers from some of Minnesota’s most prominent immigrant and cultural groups.
