CLEs & Events
The Section hosted 4 CLE programs in fiscal year 2016-17.
Annual Meeting and Election Results
The Section’s Annual Meeting was held on June 1, 2017 and 52 people attended.

• Created an Administrative Law Section D&I Statement and Plan
Other Section Accomplishments
- Granted 3 George Beck Fellowships to Minnesota law school students selected to fill legal internships at the Office of Administrative Hearings;
- Partnered with the MSBA and Public Law Section to identify topics for the State Capitol CLE Series, which is designed to increase government attorneys’ participation in the MSBA, and developed two programs for this CLE series (Understanding and Addressing Implicit Bias, and Chevron’s Inevitability);
- Continued working with Volunteer Lawyers Network to develop a program to provide pro bono assistance to unrepresented individuals in contested case proceedings at the Office of Administrative Hearings;
- Increased section membership from 185 to 201 members
