In this event, taking place during Native American Heritage
Month, Andrew Adams III and Arielle Wagner will discuss the U.S. Supreme Court’s
recent 5-4 decision in Oklahoma v. Castro-Huerta, ruling that states have
jurisdiction to prosecute crimes committed by non-Natives on Native land. Learn
about the historical context of the decision, Justice Kavanaugh’s majority
opinion and Justice Gorsuch’s vigorous dissent, the landscape in Minnesota, and
