Making the Estate Planning Process Accessible for Older Clients with Vision and Hearing Loss

As people age, the number of people who experience significant age-related hearing and vision loss increases: almost 50% of people over 70 have significant hearing loss and about 12% have significant vision loss. With an understanding of what our senior clients are experiencing, and what you can do to assist them, you can improve the quality of service you provide, and help reduce frustration in the estate planning process. In this one-hour Elimination of Bias CLE, estate planning attorneys will learn how to identify clients with hearing or vision loss, how to offer support while maintaining the clients’ dignity, how to easily apply communication methods to make meetings more accessible, and types of office environment and technology to utilize to reduce client frustration and to make the estate planning process comfortable and accessible.

This CLE is approved for credit through April 29, 2024.
