The Supreme Court has ruled that affirmative action in the educational context violates the 14th Amendment. Challenges to Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Programs have been increasing. So what’s next and how might it impact diversity in the legal profession? In this one-hour CLE, Jenny Gassman-Pines '06, co-founder of Greene Espel’s Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Practice Group and employment-law practitioner, will share her insights about the Supreme Court’s reasoning and the most recent challenges to DEI programs, and discuss what it might mean for the future of diversity, equity, and inclusion efforts in the legal profession and beyond. The course will offer substantive, practical takeaways for their diversity, equity, and inclusion efforts in compliance with the current state of the law.
Presenter:
Jenny Gassman-Pines, Attorney, Greene Espel PLLP
