The presenter will discuss the upcoming beneficial
ownership reporting regulations under the Corporate Transparency
Act (CTA). Since the CTA was passed in December 2020, FinCEN came
out with the proposed regulation in December 2021. Although the
next and updated regulations are due to be released later this year, the
presenter will discuss the newest developments, proposed reporting requirements, and what the US
companies and their beneficial owners, both foreign and domestic, should know and
do to prepare for the reporting requirements of the final
rule.
