Please join us for a 2021
legislative overview and energy policy discussion. Representative Jamie
Long (61B), Chair of the House Energy Finance and Policy Committee will discuss
what his priorities are for the 2021 legislative session
and beyond. After the presentation, we will have the opportunity to
ask questions and engage in a dialogue with Chair Long and other members of
the section. This is a great opportunity for Public Utilities Section
members to engage in direct dialogue with the officials most responsible for setting Minnesota
energy policy.
Speaker:
Representative Jamie Long is serving his second term in the
Minnesota House of Representatives. Representative Long is Chair of the
Climate and Energy Finance and Policy Committee and also serves on the Judiciary
Finance and Civil Law, Public Safety and Criminal Justice Reform Finance and
Policy, Redistricting, and Rules and Legislative Administration
committees. Representative Long has a B.A. from Carleton College and
earned a J.D. from George Washington
University.
