Event Description
Deadline to Register: January 6,
2021
This CLE provides an
overview of civil right to counsel issues in Minnesota. While a civil right to
counsel benefits all Minnesotans who can’t otherwise afford an attorney,
Minnesotans of color are disproportionately represented among the state’s
citizens living in poverty. Focusing on individuals’ civil legal problems
helps to address this inequity while increasing faith in the justice system.
This program is co-sponsored by the MSBA
Access to Justice Committee and the Collaborative Community Law
