Event Description
Due to the current situation, this program is
REMOTE-ONLY participation. There will be NO in-person
attendance.
As the practice of law changes and lawyers are constantly forced to adjust to
a new reality, the MSBA NLS Section will host bi-weekly roundtable discussions
as a way to connect and share how other new lawyers are navigating.
Roundtable Session Two
- Career Strategies for New Lawyers in Pan(dem)ic
With COVID-19 wreaking havoc on the economy, new
lawyers are right to be concerned business interruptions will cause career disruption.
Join the NLS for a virtual coffee hour on Wednesday, May 6 at 10:30 AM
featuring attorneys who were new lawyers during the 2008 recession. These attorneys
will share their experiences and tips on how to find
career opportunities and build a legal career in spite of a bust economy.
Please feel free to submit questions in advance for the panelists by emailing
NLS Section Manager, Abby Ward at award@mnbars.org.
