Solo and Small Firm Section

The MSBA’s Solo & Small Firm Section represents, supports, and advocates on behalf of Minnesota’s sole practitioners and small firm lawyers.  We bring our members lively social events, accessible and relevant CLEs, and opportunities for mentorship and service to the profession and the community. When legislation or rule changes arise that affect solo and small law firm lawyers, we aim to ensure your voices are heard.  And if you are considering starting a solo practice anywhere in Minnesota, we want to connect you with experienced practitioners who can be your trusted advisers and guides.

In partnership with other MSBA sections, professional organizations, and law schools, we typically sponsor more than a half dozen CLE programs each year.  You can find this year’s calendar by following this link.  Our CLEs are free to section members.  If you’re interested in proposing a CLE topic, or in serving on our CLE Committee, please contact Geen Mui.
