Family Law Section

The Family Law Section's purpose is to promote the practice of family law as a profession and provides for the exchange of information about family law among Minnesota attorneys. Committees include Amicus, Publications, Domestic Abuse, Greater Minnesota/Out-state and Legislative.

  • Attend a satellite CLE meeting in outstate MN to network with local colleagues
  • Get an opportunity to have your voice heard by serving on one of the many section committees
  • The Family Law Section-sponsored seminar with topics of interest to family law practitioners. 


The Family Law Section hosts a monthly Section meeting on the second Saturday every month from 9:30am - 11:00am (Sept - May).  Remote participation is an option.
