Connection to 4th District judges is a key benefit of HCBA membership.
The Hennepin County Bar Association is proud to serve and work in partnership with the 4th Judicial District -- the district court of the State of Minnesota that serves the Hennepin County region. The 4th District is the largest trial court in the state and is recognized nationally for its innovative courts.
The member judges of the 4th District work closely with the attorney members of the HCBA, serving on HCBA committees and sections, leading CLE programs, and volunteering for service projects. Many HCBA member attorneys have become judges on the 4th District bench and continue to be active members of the HCBA. Association events, including the annual HCBA Judges Social and special Committee and Section programs, provide opportunities for attorneys to get to know the judges of the 4th District.
